How We Actually Got Here

Back in 2019, I was consulting for a mid-sized manufacturing company in Taichung. They had decent sales numbers but couldn't figure out why some quarters were amazing while others fell flat. Their "reporting system" was basically three different Excel files that nobody fully understood.

That project taught me something crucial - most businesses don't need fancier data. They need clearer pictures of what their data actually means. So we started small, focusing on Taiwan's growing tech sector, and learned how to translate numbers into stories that actually help people make better decisions.
